iWriterly Closes Editorial Services

As some of you may have heard on Meg LaTorre’s recent Instagram post, we are officially closing our iWriterly editorial services.

For those of you who don’t know, I (Meg) have worked as a freelance editor for a number of years now. In that time, I’ve tended to work primarily with authors looking to traditionally publish and who want help on their submission materials (query letter, synopsis, and opening chapters).

(I’m kind of terrible in asking for and updating my testimonials.😆)

While it has been a pleasure working with writers, I’ve slowly gotten to a point where working as an editor (in addition to writing my own books) has taken a toll on my personal creative well. In addition, it’s my goal to help the greatest number of writers, which I feel I can do best through the iWriterly YouTube channel videos (vs. one-on-one critiques).

Thank you so much again for everyone’s interest in our editorial service and for your understanding for this change at iWriterly.

But don’t worry—there are many exciting things ahead!

Warm regards,

Meg

P.S. We will still be doing Query Hack and first page critiques. This update is for my freelance editorial services.
